Amazon Mechanical Turk

Yesterday I was reading a friend of mine’s blog bar10dr98 . She talked about mturk. This made me curious so I did a Google search and found https://www.mturk.com/mturk/help?helpPage=overview. I signed up. I have made $5.45 in one day there. The site is a place where you can earn money, buy completing a hit, getting approved and then getting paid.

Each hit is different. Some people would like you to check out their webpage to see if it is working, while others may simply want you to answer a question for a few cents. Each task has different levels of pay ranging from .01 to over $14.00. I only saw two hits that offered over $14.00 dollars, I had to run out and when I was able to log back on the hits were gone. The site is easy enough to use. One of the hits was for a 50 cent pay out, simply by linking to your site. That is what the post below this one is all about. I think that is worth 50 cents.

Beware of hits offering to pay you a few cents to write for them. The reason for the warning is that it is likely that they will sell what you wrote for allot more money. You lose all rights to what you have written.
If you are interested in writing for a site to earn cash I would suggest writing for ehow.com or infobarrel.

  1. This is Excellent. Thanks for telling me about it on eHow. I'll be looking into it. Anyway to make money without it being fake is great.

  4. Mturk can definitely burn me out pretty quickly lol. I have made around $14 myself. I did mostly MasterCard favorite places to do.. HITs. It would be a decent place to outsource some work though...

  5. Thanks for the link love :) I have made almost $500 total on MTurk over the past several months. One tip for quick and easy work is to search for surveys. Many of them pay .50 to a buck and only take a few minutes. They are gone pretty quickly, but several are posted through the day. I love MTurk!! Some days there's a gold mine of work available!
